Little Fishy hoop art,framed in an 8," embroidery hoop.
A unique and fun piece of hoop art.
Inspired by the tiny fabric scraps that are a by product of my work. I used then to make the scales, the starting point for this piece of art.
The scales were painted and sewn onto the painted fish, which was then sewn onto the painted plate - and he's had a little stuffing added.
With a vibrant mustard yellow background, and stamped words from that (annoyingly) catchy song 'when the boat comes in'
