Embroidered floral art with reclaimed pottery.
My garden is a treasure trove when it comes to broken pottery and when I discovered this piece I thought it would make the perfect vase.
After a thorough clean and sand I glued it onto linen fabric and secured it with thread. I added lots of embroidery flowers in an array of colours.
Framed in a 5" British made embroidery hoop backed with wadding and felt. Pink ribbon is attached for hanging.
