Piece on hoop art, framed in a 5” embroidery hoop.
Pigeon has been painted onto calico using fabric paints then sewn onto mustard coloured fabric, with metallic thread stitching on his neck to highlight the delicate pink and green feathers.
Embellished with a trio of green spotty fabric leaves.
all of my hoop art is backed with wadding a felt and comes with a ribbon attached for hanging. Hoop art can be displayed on the wall (it looks great on a gallery wall, amongst other artwork) or it can be propped on a shelf.
